Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “Client,” or “Studio Owner”) and ChairMora Technologies Inc. (“ChairMora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the ChairMora website (chairmora.com), booking an appointment, or listing a studio, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

ChairMora operates as an online discovery marketplace, directory, and technology booking engine.

ChairMora is not a salon or barbershop. We do not provide cosmetology, barbering, haircutting, coloring, or styling services directly. When a Client schedules an appointment via ChairMora, the contract for styling services is formed directly and exclusively between the Client and the independent studio or stylist.

Each studio is solely responsible for service quality, licensing compliance, safety standards, and pricing accuracy.

• Instant Confirmation: When you submit a booking, the appointment is registered in real-time on the studio owner's digital agenda, and an instant confirmation alert is dispatched.
• Arrival & Punctuality: Clients are expected to arrive at the studio on time. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a studio declining future appointments.
• Cancellation Policies: Because stylists reserve their chairs exclusively for your requested time slot, clients must communicate cancellations in advance either by replying to their booking confirmation email or phoning the studio directly.
• Payments for Haircuts: Unless explicitly noted otherwise, service fees are paid directly to the studio or stylist at the time of appointment completion according to the studio's accepted payment methods.

ChairMora offers transparent subscription tiers for barbershops and salons:

0% Commission Guarantee: ChairMora does not deduct percentages from your styling revenue. Studio subscriptions are flat monthly/annual software fees processed securely via Stripe.

Cancellation: Studio owners may cancel or downgrade their subscription anytime directly from their studio dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Studio owners retain full copyright ownership of logos, studio photography, and service descriptions uploaded to their profile.

By uploading content to ChairMora, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your studio profile, images, and menu across our directory, marketing channels, and search previews to promote your business. You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary copyright and publicity rights for all images submitted.

Users and studio owners agree not to:

• Post misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent studio profiles, pricing, or reviews.
• Deploy bots, scrapers, or automated tools to crawl the directory or overload server capacity.
• Circumvent or tamper with platform security measures, authentication tokens, or rate limiters.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse stylists, clients, or ChairMora support staff.

THE CHAIRMORA PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHAIRMORA TECHNOLOGIES INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DISPUTES OVER STYLING RESULTS, SERVICE CANCELLATIONS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PHYSICAL INJURY ARISING AT ANY INDEPENDENT STUDIO.

IN NO EVENT SHALL CHAIRMORA'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO CHAIRMORA DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved first through informal good-faith negotiations with our legal department before seeking binding adjudication in the competent courts of Montreal, Quebec.
